ADOPTING
Adopting is the greatest gift you can give!!! When you adopt an AFTLOA Angel, you are not only saving one Angel, but you are saving THREE! How do we figure this? Simple. You are saving the Angel you are adopting allowing another space for an Angel on "death row" to receive a second chance ultimately freeing up a space at the shelter facility allowing another Angel to gain a reprive! :- )
SOCIAL NETWORKING
It's no secret that technology is changing the way we connect. Social Networking has been essential to our organization. We now use Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter on a regular basis and find each to be a very useful tool to share each animal's individual story, to hear feedback from our supporters and keep them updated on our daily to weekly happens, and to also help us keep in better contact with our beloved adoptive families. Every share on Facebook counts and YOU make the difference. Without your continued support, our current cause is a lost one... the larger the support system, the more animals we are able to save together as a team!
DONATIONS
As a Non-Profit Organization, AFTLOA relies solely on generous donations made by the public in order to operate. Please see the "DONATE" tab to learn more. 100% of Donations received go toward the animals, are tax-deductible, but are not refundable.
VOLUNTEERS
There is nothing too small a Volunteer can do to help wether it's participating in a "Meet&Greet" event or Fundraising. We will work with Volunteers ages 10 and up. :- ) Parental consent, participation, and surpervision is required for those under 18 years of age.

FOSTERS
AFTLOA is currently exploring the option of having out of state Fosters along the East Coast that are within close proximity to our Adoptive Families. If you would like to consider becoming a Foster home to an Angel, please submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION which will also double as a Foster Application since we will screen potential Fosters as if they were adopting.
