PAWS FOR MINDS
As of 2014 AFTLOA has officially partnered with Attitudes In Reverse by assisting them in the selection and placement of qualified rescued animals to participate in their "Paws For Minds" program. This program is geared toward training animals to become Therapy, Emotional Support, and/or Assistive animals for qualified families. SIMON now SHERLOCK
Sherlock is now considered a "Service Dog in Training" currently under the foster care of his trainer, Sharon Grant, a graduate student of Bergin University in California. Sherlock already has a potential adopter and it is our hope that once he completes his training that he can be officially certified as a "Service Dog" for his potential adopter. In the event Sherlock does not make it as a "Service Dog", he will then be certified as a "Emotional Support Therapy Dog" for a qualified family. Be sure to follow Sherlock's Progress!!! |
