JANUARY 2015 HIGHLIGHT!
After being rescued from a high kill facility in South Carolina in January of 2014, Landy, a Red Bone Coonhound, is officially a Brooklyn Babe and our first adoption of the New Year! Adopted on January 10th, 2015, she made her home with her parents, , who say that she is an absolute "dream".
In the south, an abundance of Hounds are neglected and abused and often find their way into shelter facilities where a majority of them are euthanized due to several stero-types and misunderstandings of these beautiful dogs. Landy is one of the beauties that we hope can end the view the public has on Hounds.
